The key to following the continuous delivery path is to continually question your own assumptions about what’s possible.” – Jeff Sussna

SALT LAKE CITY DEVOPS DAYS

RETURNING TO THE SILICON SLOPES, BIGGER AND BETTER THAN EVER

May 16th & 17th 2017 at Noah’s Event Venue, right in the heart of Utah’s Tech Community. This next generation, internationally developed two-day technology event includes conference talks in the morning, openspaces each afternoon, an ongoing hackathon, hands-on exchanges, and an evening social gathering the first night.

Tickets are available immediately and already selling quickly. Tickets are currently available for the  low price of $149 for the first 100 people to register and $199 for the remaining, until sold out.

Attendance recommended for: Developer’s, Operation Engineers, System Administrators, Security Engineers, Project Managers, Scrum Masters-and anyone who is interested in containerization, micro-services, a continuous delivery pipeline, DevOps leadership and the associated cultural changes.

DevOps is referred to as Agile 3.0, the next generation of practices driven by recent market, technology and process changes. It includes “a cross-disciplinary community of practice dedicated to the study of building, evolving and operating rapidly-changing resilient systems at scale.” — Jez Humble of Chef.

You choose! Participate as an attendee, speaker, a volunteer:

Just getting started, or anxious to learn more, we would love to have everyone attend the SLC DevOps Days. We are a 501(c) non-profit entity. Which means-your tickets are tax deductible!!!! Seating is limited and can be purchased here: slcdevopsdays.org.

Are you a DevOps Ninja? Propose a talk or panel for our morning conference.  There are a total of 12 slots for talks, 6 each day, 45 minutes per talk.  Speakers should expect around 400 people in the auditorium during these periods.

Do you have an interesting idea that you would like to share? Propose an Ignite talk for Ignite sessions.  Creativity loves constraints and Ignite sessions are constrained. You get a 5-minute slot in which you present your content and discuss your slides, which change every 15 seconds (20 slides total-sounds fun right!).  Ignite talks follow regular, full-length talks in the same large auditorium.

Curios to hear how your peers handle specific challenges, or interested in having a deeper dive on one of our sponsors technologies? Attend an openspace session; even without a prepared presentation we encourage discussions and interaction by having people propose a session on the fly during the openspace portion of the conference.  Check the open space format for more information
