Allia DeAngelis is a DevOps Principal Program Manager, where she plays a strategic role in cross-functional initiatives and communication across disparate corporate groups and departments. Her assignments include portfolio-level technology planning and decision making as well as inter-department communication. To be successful in this pivotal role, Allia applies a flexible approach, as different departments have different focus and priorities and often use different processes. Focusing on critical strategic conversations, instead of focusing on process, has proven to be the key to building trusting relationships and productivity teams.
Allia has over thirteen years’ experience driving engineering team communication. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Cultural Anthropology with a Project Management Certification from the University of Utah, and is a Certified Scrum Master with the Agile Alliance. She uses these same communication theories in her role as a Lego League Coach and Judge and Scout Committee Member. Allia has served on the Strategic Planning Committee of The McGillis Private School, and is a member of the Greenleaf Center for Servant Leadership.
